The "Edina Triangle"?
Nov 16th, 2009, 2:42pm

Just got back from what might be the last  time this year I get to run my Bristol Bay before the pond freezes. While I was on the pond I found a particular location that was troublesome. It's about 15 feet straight out from the third light south of the Centerum building. My boat was running fine except in that spot. When I got in about a 8 foot circle in this area the speed controller and rudder would stutter for about 2 seconds and then go back to normal. The rest of the pond was fine, but I repeated this behavior 5 or 6 times.

Is there a mystery shipwreck or something that could be creating an "Edina Triangle"??

Hey Kurt, It's funny you mention this cause I posted an article referencing the same thing. But, of course I didn't get a response.

Lost Boat in EMYC 2005 Newsletter?
May 12th, 2009, 10:50am    Last year when I was reading through the old 2005 Newsletters on this site, I came acrossed a story of one of the members losing his "Fine ship" via the waves at the pond in Oct. Or Nov.  The reason why I bring this up is the last News letter regarding the pond being drained & a clean-up ensued..  Has this boat been found?  I can't find the article anymore..

Maybe it's the Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones is getting ready to come out for his day off...

Maybe we should give Captian Jack Sparrow a call...
